Flynn removed 3 UST systems used to store gasoline, diesel fuel, and Stoddard solvents. Contamination identified during the closure prompted a Tier 1 Evaluation. Benzene concentrations up to 7 parts per million were identified in the soil. Flynn conducted a Tier 2 Evaluation at the site and used land and groundwater use classifications combined with a risk assessment to eliminate the need for remediation.
The client received a No Further Action letter from BUSTR less than 7 months after the USTs were removed
